Hi, I’m Kelsey (she/her)
I am a licensed mental health counselor (#LH61212660) in Seattle, Washington. I earned my master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Bastyr University in 2019, where my studies heavily emphasized connecting mental health and somatic (body-focused) healing methods. During graduate school, I worked in a residential eating disorder facility, conducting group therapy and assessments with those struggling with relationships to food, their body, and exercise/movement. After graduating, I worked at a treatment facility providing assessments, individual therapy, and group therapy for teens and adults struggling with depression, suicidal thoughts, disordered eating, anxiety, and trauma in an Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization setting.
As a lifelong learner, I thrive when I am expanding my skills and knowledge. I continue to develop my expertise by attending lectures and reading literature related to eating disorder treatment, Health at Every Size®, body-liberation, weight discrimination, social determinants of health, and social justice.
Outside of work, I love playing around with recipes in the kitchen, singing along to musicals, listening to an endless number of podcasts and audiobooks, going on outdoor adventures with my dog, Lou, and snuggling with my cat, Truffle
